Unique Entertainment’s DJ Biography
Virgil began his disc jockeying profession in 1980 while serving in the U.S. Army. He was then transferred to Mons Belgium where he created and deejayed on an evening radio show on FMR 101 for four years.
Upon returning to the United States in 1989, Virgil continued to deejay at many of the popular clubs in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and other East coast states such as Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to providing disc jockey services to nightclubs, he also serviced private events such as weddings, anniversary parties, corporate events and school dances.
From 1990-1993 Virgil owned and operated Faces, an R&B nightclub in Woodbridge, VA. Faces not only served as a nightclub to local area residents, but also as banquet/wedding hall, which hosted more than 100 private events. In 1993 he sold the nightclub and resumed disc jockeying.
In addition to owning and operating Unique Entertainment, Virgil is also contracted with several professional disc jockey organizations such as, The Pros, Absolute Sound and Spirit of Washington Cruise Line. In this capacity, he provides quality disc jockey services to a wide range of clients in the Washington Metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
